I love the idea of the skunk - that it is a mangled, drooling skunk makes the image complete.
That's exactly what it's like. It's terrible. I just can't figure out why our elected officials think this is the best they could do. Perhaps we need some new elected officials- some with economics training, perhaps. LOL

You're right! If Bush hadn't destroyed healthcare through greed and starting a war with Iraq, we'd have no need to socialize medicine today and spend another trillion or two or three or ten to cater to insurance companies and bolster special interests.
I'm sure the dems won't notice the smell... you kind of get used to it after a while...
